Before submitting an RMA (return merchandise authorization) request, you must visit the Troubleshooting/FAQ page and complete the Common Issues section. This solves 80% of common issues that customers have with their products. If you are still having issues or feel that your product may broken/defective, please continue to the RMA request section below.

Per the offer on the Groupon Deal website: all sales are final. No refunds are given unless defective. 

TAO ELECTRONICS RETURNS POLICY

You must return all accessories and product component parts. If the returned unit is determined to be operating normally upon inspection, we will need to ship the same unit back at the customer's expense. In addition, your product must not contain any types of federally illegal substances. Finally, you must ship your product with an RMA number. TAO Electronics reserves the right to not process any returns if the conditions of this Return Policy are not fully met.

 

Defective Parts/Products
Returns of any defective products are entitled to a replacement only during the warranty period and in accordance with the TAO Electronics Return Policy. 

 

Damaged/D.O.A or Incorrect/Incomplete Orders 
If you receive an order that was damaged, incorrect or incomplete, please contact us immediately.
Please note: damaged or missing merchandise must be reported to us within 72 hours of the date of delivery. Failure to do so may result in the claim being denied and exclusion from our return/exchange policy.

 

We accept returns of all unused/unopened products for 30 days following receipt of your order. Simply send the item(s) back to TAO Electronics for a full refund (less a 15% restocking fee and any shipping costs).

 

Disposable Vaporizers
Disposable vaporizers are sold as-is with no warranty. There are no returns or exchanges. Each time the power button is pressed, the battery is activated. The battery will last for several days under normal conditions. Products can be activated during shipping and the batteries worn down artificially.  It is the customer's responsibility to test the product before loading with product.  If a product is tested and found to be defective (D.O.A) before being used, then you will be eligible under the TAO Replacement Program to receive a replacement free of charge.

Do not attempt to ship products to TAO Electronics that contain illegal substances in them. This will void any warranty and your product will be immediately discarded.

Step 1:  Log into your account and click on the RMA link on the left column of your admin panel. Complete the form to receive your RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization). Once your RMA is approved, you will download your RMA and move to step 2. **Please note it can take up to 24 hours to process your RMA Request.  
Step 2.: Gather product along with all parts including attachments & tools along with any instructions. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SHIP ANY CARTRIDGES THAT CONTAIN ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES. YOU MUST CLEAN BEFORE SHIPPING.
Step 3: Pack everything in a standard shipping box. Pack the items to be returned securely using the original packaging material (if possible). Inside the box, include your RMA.

 

You MUST clean your product's chambers ensuring no illegal substances are found inside. Scoop out any excess product and wipe down with an alcohol swab or similar cleaning item. If you choose to ship items back to TAO Electronics with illegal substances in them, you will void your warranty.

 

You are responsible for shipping your item back to TAO Electronics. You must ship in an appropriate package that will not be damaged, torn or accidentally opened. We recommend shipping your package via USPS First Class - this will offer you free tracking services and will typically be lowest price.

Once we receive your RMA, our engineers will review the product and make a determination. This typically occurs within 48 hours after your product is received. You will be then notified by email.
